- SEDS Scholarship Opportunity for ISU programs
The SEDS executive board has been working hard to bring benefits to our members,
and it's now paying off in a big way. SEDS-USA proudly announces a $10000
scholarship for an offical SEDS member to attend either the International Space
University's (ISU) summer program, or the ISU master's program. ISU's unique
programs present an interdisciplinary program to an international, intercultural
student body.
This scholarship is made possible by a $5000 dedication from the American
Astronautical Society and matching funds from the International Space
University. In order to receive this scholarship you must be an official SEDS
member with the intention of attending either the ISU two-month summer program
or one-year master's program. This year's summer program will be conducted in
Adelaide, Australia, June 27-August 28; the master's program is held each year
at the University's Central Campus located in Strasbourg, France.
For further information on these programs please see the ISU website at:
http://www.isunet.edu/
For information on the American Astronautical Society, who have made
this scholarship possible, see:
http://www.astronautical.org/
If you would like to apply for this scholarship please contact Joshua Neubert
<neubjr@mit.edu>
by April 1st. This is a very tight deadline so that everything can be processed by
the beginning of the Summer session.

- Welcome to the temporary new version of seds.org!
This new page was put up here to keep the SEDS community
informed about the changes happening within the organization.
Last November, representatives of local SEDS chapters from several
schools, including MIT, Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, The
University of Illinois, and The University of Minnesota met at the
American Astronautical Society Conference in Houston to reestablish
SEDS-USA as a national governing body for local SEDS chapters. We met
with Peter Diamandis about the future of SEDS, elected an Interim
Executive Board, and started returning SEDS to an
active status.
The purpose of this new website is to keep the SEDS
community up-to-date while the new, permanent website is being constructed.
The final website will likely be similar to this design, but with a great
deal more functionality and dynamic content, such as a full member
database accessable by other members.
The members of the Interim Executive Board are listed below. Please feel
free to contact them with any comments or concerns.
