9/28/03 - CONTINENTAL DRIFTERS REACTIVATED?
The Continental Drifters may be coming out of it's two year hibernation. They have a gig at the Howling Wolf in New Orleans scheduled for Nov 5th. Just who will be playing is, according to Mark Walton, yet to be determined. Stay tuned for more information on this developing story.
9/19/03 - BANGLES ON LENO
The Bangles appeared on Jay Leno on Friday September 19th, playing their first single, "Something That You Said" before a live TV audience. The girls looked and sounded great!

9/19/03 - BANGLES ENTER SINGLES CHART!
-The Bangles first single, "Something That You Said" has entered Radio and Records Hot AC chart with a debut at #37!!! YAHOO!!! :) Not a bad way to start out the Doll Revolution eh? 9/11/03 - VICKI PETERSON IN NEW BAND PROJECT
- Bangle fans decended on The Hotel Cafe in Los Angeles to witness
the
birth of a new Bangle side project. Our very own Vicki Peterson, who
already pulled lead guitar duties with The Bangles, lead and rythem
guitar
with the Continental Drifters and Psycho Sisters, is the bass player
for
"The Lamps" a new band collective featuring John Crooke and Dave
Burris,
late of the New Orleans band Jolene, James and Tim Raven and Chris
Phillips from the Squirrel Nut Zippers. And what is the sound?
According
to those in attendance, a eclectic mix of country rock with
atmosphereic
effects and harmonies. Sounds delish! The Lamps have more gigs in
the
pipeline with two gigs scheduled at the Hotel Cafe, slated for
November.
